Developments along the rail line

As expected the development along the Interstate 25 is picking up speed as the new rail line is expected to open next year. The 13 new stations between Lincoln Avenue and Broadway is part of the T-REX project. Many new commercial and residential complexes are expected to come up within the vicinity of the station.

Making the area around station pedestrian –oriented will be a difficult task because the T-REX rail line is next to freeway, but this disadvantage has not stopped the developers from assisting new projects along the rail line. The first among the developments are the hundreds of condos and apartments that have come up near the Lincoln station that will open only by the end of 2006.

Another upcoming project is that the former Gates Rubber Plant near Broadway station which will be replaced by 4,000 homes and 2.2 million square feet of commercial space. Developments are expected to flourish everywhere near Broadway as it is the place where three rail lines will be intersecting.
