Belgravia Group and Sandz Development Co have joined hands to bring about 13 new projects in Streeterville, a fast growing neighborhood in Chicago. The hotel and condo project will have 400 condominiums in two towers. Business center, fitness center, parking and other services are planned for the nine-storey base above which the proposed tower will be built.
Of the two towers, the north tower that is under construction has 31 floor of residence, standing on 9 floors of parking base. 60% of the condos are already sold out. The main buyers are the suburbanites who want to settle in-town. This increase in the number of suburban buyers is transforming Chicago into another New York.
The construction of the south tower is expected to begin in 2007. It will have a total of 46-storey with 37 floors of residence, on 9 floor of base. The proposed project will have landscaped and sculpted gardens. The units facing the garden are already sold out.
